Naish UDS

Postby tux » Wed Dec 24, 2003 6:28 pm

Just come back from a session with the Naish UDS sistem, and I'm really happy with it.
Kite: X3 14, Board Stubbie 115, wind 23kts with gusts till 28.
i was from the beginning very comfortable with this sistem, in such conditions i use normally an x2 10 , You can jump hooked or not in both cases you'll go very high, when hooked because you're in full power , when not because you can invert the kite a lot and recall it very quickly since when unhooked the kite is really fast. In rotations it is great, the sistem turn and when you turn back the bar lines are perfectly straight only if unhooked you have to be quick to bring back the bar after you have turned the bar.
A fantastic sistem IMO.

UDS & X2 10

I've used again the sistem today with a X2 10 in 30 kts, and seems not working as well as for the X3.
