Not sure I'd have much faith in a reviewer who clearly has no idea why the recoil is there.

to each his own regarding the recoil comment... Whenever there is a proprietary system that is isolated to a single brand there is almost always going to be opposition to that systems design intent. Personally I like what the recoil system does and i know from experience that webbing straps are more reliable and safer than cam cleat systems which the reviewer appears to prefer.

I went from 2014 switchblades to 2015 FX's and I'm glad I did. I think the review captures some of the positive and some of the negative things that might be decision factors for some interested parties.

I personally like that the review is from a shop that sells multiple brands so they have experience with multiple brands and are less biased towards Cabrinha compared to a team rider who only rides one brand.

The only thing that the review didn't really cover is that the FX is going to have less low end but more top end when compared to the switchblade. Because of this, I'd recommend getting 1 size up FX if you're looking to replace a switchblade.
