Put the key to the condom, or in two and only then to waterproof bag. Simply
but, the problem is that if you will have big fall to this key side you can damage this part of body. It was for me from strange sonic backstall and i hit strong water, though broke my rib in that place where was this keybag, very hurt for 3 months. I cant understand why harness companies not making good keypockets in their harness, because exactly sades place is on harness side i think, especially if its hardshell.

I wrap my chip key in foil inside the car so I can lock the doors and take the mechanical key with me in my harness pocket

Forgot to add i have a friend who literally used to wrap his key in foil so he could leave it in or near the car...
While we’re at it, how about integrated screen for nav, a/c, radio, engine diagnostics, kitchen sink.
Shouid not exist.
Best nav is an ipad with a velcro strip on the back. Relaibly works and replaced from any store for a few hundred instead of a week at a dealer and $1000+
Yep. The maps for navi cost about $180 to update, Google Maps is free. I use my phone now for navigation do the car navi is relegated to AV duties.
I've been wondering if the cheap touch screen car AV are worth the effort...
