Put the key to the condom, or in two and only then to waterproof bag. Simply :) but, the problem is that if you will have big fall to this key side you can damage this part of body. It was for me from strange sonic backstall and i hit strong water, though broke my rib in that place where was this keybag, very hurt for 3 months. I cant understand why harness companies not making good keypockets in their harness, because exactly sades place is on harness side i think, especially if its hardshell.

I wrap my chip key in foil inside the car so I can lock the doors and take the mechanical key with me in my harness pocket

Forgot to add i have a friend who literally used to wrap his key in foil so he could leave it in or near the car...

While we’re at it, how about integrated screen for nav, a/c, radio, engine diagnostics, kitchen sink.
Shouid not exist.
Best nav is an ipad with a velcro strip on the back. Relaibly works and replaced from any store for a few hundred instead of a week at a dealer and $1000+
Yep. The maps for navi cost about $180 to update, Google Maps is free. I use my phone now for navigation do the car navi is relegated to AV duties.

I've been wondering if the cheap touch screen car AV are worth the effort...
