I'm trying to decide between 13m and 15m. I feel like the 13m will be a bit more lively with twintip jumps than the 15m and at the low end there won't be that much difference for foiling. Would that be correct?
Does the 11m give you enough airtime for old school tricks. I think if I went bigger the steering would be too slow. It was on my old 12m soul. I have then 10m soul but 11m was always my favourite kite in Lei’s now replaced with the 10m soul. People say you get more hang on the 11m sonic 3 is it considerable?
At 85kg I do find it hard to get enough hang for board off’s but much prefer the steering speed compared with the 12m size. Is the 11m fairly fast through the air like the 10m soul?

I'm Not sure if this is helps you or not... until recently I was under the assumption that smaller kites = less hang time
I just got a 7m Soul and cannot believe the hangtime and height I'm getting on my foilboard in low 20's.
It almost feels like I'm up there for too long!
This is in comparison to my experience with the 11,13 and 18m Sonic 2's.
I used to prefer the lighter wind days but unfortunately now I'll be looking forward to the windier days

I have the 11 sonic3 and its so far the best boosting kite with loads of hangtime ..that said I don't have Soul10 and i'd think Sonic11 is better both in terms of hang time and speed. Though the Soul 10 is smaller its also thicker and deeper profile which makes it slower than sonic3 AFTER initiating the turn when climbing ...I find 10m R1V2 and 11M Sonic superb in hangtime an height..
Height gained from high AR foil kites is an interesting concept. If you are an expert you'd gain max height using LEI in high wind but foil kites come in handy when your timing is not perfect so for average joe like me its more about being up there to catch a sudden gust and this is one of the coolest and must say lazy way of boosting ..I reckon 11m is the perfect size for boosting for average weights with a good balance of speed, wind range, stability and durability..

I have the 9m soul and sold the 8m not long back. Loved the 8m once in the air but the launch in high winds for my area was just too sketchy so sold it.
Prefer the safety of an lei in high winds and there isn’t much difference in hang time etc on high winds between that and my core xr6, but for light wind stuff I wouldn’t be without a foil now. Had the 15 and 12m souls but sold them as I found them a little too slow. Kept the 10m as it is faster. With the 11m being faster still in the sonic I may buy one of those instead.
Saying that soul 2 should be out any time now and be interesting to see what if any improvements they have made to that I guess, 11m was always my favourite size lei and they never did that size in the soul though.
