Wanted to put a plug in for Litewave Carbon Wing 165, just bought a 2020 model a couple days ago. 218 lbs/99kg rider in FL panhandle. Recently added an off year 14m and 11m pivot to the quiver. My mainstay the last few years has been a 17m turbine with a 134x39 crazyfly bulldozer. The 14m pivot has been great, much more maneuverable, sits further forward in the window...overall a much more pleasant feel than a 17m, just a bit challenging and lots of walking back upwind in 10-12 mph conditions...able to keep kite in the air at 7-8 mph in the lulls. Flat, glassy, offshore conditions with no whitecaps. Falls out of the sky in a controllable manner at around 6-7 mph. The wing has radically changed the 14m ride, increased the low end (where I can ride upwind/hold ground) by 2-4 mph. It rides well thru lulls, much less susceptible to sinking at 9-10 mph as compared to the smaller tt. It's my first large twin tip, and already love it after the first day on the water with it. I haven't tried the 17m with it yet, and don't think I ever will...rides really well with the 14m at my weight in underpowered conditions.

Brought the 11m to the beach by mistake, instead of the 14m. Enjoyed a 9-10knot downwind session, the Litewave is amazing after a quick power stroke to get planing. And absolutely amazed how quick the 11m pivot turns in the light wind.

Brought the 14m naish pivot out today and the wind died down to 7-8 knots after setting up. Launched anyway, able to ride downwind on a plane with the wing. A couple times it lulled (5-6 knots) and had to grab the center lines and yank them to coax it back up. Kept kite dry. Wish I had the 11m today and put it up to compare. Absolutely no way my older airush vapor 14m from 2008 would be aloft, just too heavy. Amazing improvement in kite technology.
