Are the lines on these bars better than when the first came out? They were terrible!

The lines are ok these days.

Things that do need fixing (experience with the 2021 model) :
* The safety "iron heart" is a major pain to reset, they should move it to what is now becoming standard: click-in system
* The lines in the PU tube wear super quickly when using it in a low V setup specifically where it leaves the PU (not sure but this might have been fixed with a slightly different setup now?)
* The square centre PU is so thick/sticky that you cannot steer and change sheeting at the same time
* The square centre PU tube gets very sticky when dry to the point it is even rough to just touch I actually needed to flush it with water regularly
* Durability of the grip isn't great and I personally don't like the feel of it

I personally switched to the Ocean Rodeo shift bar (IIRC used to be also available from Hyde and Harlem but it looks like those stopped shipping them).
Compared to the Click:
* Sadly no auto untwist of the centre lines, the only major thing I am missing
* The mechanism of the clickbar to wind/unwind is slightly nicer to use (for me) but the benefits of the shift bar is that it is a simpler mechanisms that is easy to flush
* Super small thing: the clickbar comes with nice dual-purpose pigtails (both a knot and a loop) I just added these to my shift bar

Agreed but I don't want to pay more for the bar and I am sure duotone will find a way to argue that giving you a click-in system is a valid reason to increase price by 15%.

Might they bring now a click in system? :)
About the low V setup; I have not had any problem as I pass the safety line through the metal ring just at the top of the black tube end.
About the black tube stickiness; I fall down ever so often that it's always wet and doesn't give any headaches, but I agree when it's dry, it's far from perfect.
I very much like the Clickbar, and prefer it to anything else.

I don't think that is possible unless you snip off the stopperball on the safety line?
At least on the 2021 I am pretty sure you cannot do that.

There is a new click in iron heart coming this fall

https://www.duotonesports.com/booklet/D ... -No3-2022/

The pu stickiness will wear off after a bit.

The new lines are a big improvement over the previous lines.

I think the best setup is from infexion. He shortened the front leader lines and made them smaller and sheathed the red line and so it simply has no wear compared to the stock red lines.

https://www.infexion.eu/product-categor ... ion-setup/

You can take the vee splitter lower by removing the leader line and then putting the splitter below the stopper.

I recall reading that there might be a burr inside the pu that causes an issue without the splitter. Filing down the exit from the pu would help.

I’m running a low vee with my infexion line set with no issues. Using 300kg thin lines for foiling.

I did have a rear leader line break the other day. The left leader passes through the bar and over a sheave before it exits out through the float.

What I did is buy the Harlem line splitter which you CAN put on the line. Just put it above the entry of the PU and you are fine and can leave the stopperball on it.
