How to Assist ARC Users

Postby zerogee_ca » Fri May 28, 2004 8:55 pm

I think most ARC users launch and land almost exclusively solo. However, most will not turn down assistance if offered when the wind is strong, or if things turn hairy, in particular if the launch area is tight.

I know many of you LEI guys would be happy to help but are unsure of the proper techniques for assisting with ARC kites. Some may not offer assistance or may be uneasy when assisting because of this.

I have put together a gallery on kiteforum that shows photo sequences on how to assist in an ARC launch and landing.

Also available is a video showing these methods of assisting in launching and landing ARC's.

The photo sequences and video are excerpts from the Peter Lynn Twin Skin Instructional video.
