Kite line splicing - long bury vs locked Brummel

I found the long bury of the brummel splice tends to slip out a bit over time when manipulating the lines. This eventually puts some load on the locking part of the brummel which is not supposed to be.
So now i use only long bury splice with 100 length and taper, with about 10 hane double stiches.
That has worked for me so far.
