I just came back from a trip to Kitesurf the Earth with Paul Menta. We flew into San Juan and rented a car so we could see more of the island. It is better to fly into Mayaguez though. American has 2 flights a day there on Eagle/Executive air. Try to take the early flight in and out. It is possible to kite the day you arrive but not the day you leave so the early flight out is best.
Paul was booked in the main house so we got a room next door. Even if you stay next door you have full access to the main house. Paul has most kiteboarding DVDs and a copy of Kiteboarding’s Simple Plan by John Holzhall. His advertisement for the book says This book details exactly how riders can enter safely and excel comfortably. It contains real answers to complex safety and handling questions.
