Kite trip, need help

Postby andersne » Wed Oct 15, 2008 10:57 pm

I’m thinking about taking a kite trip around July. Therefore I wonder if there is anyone who can help me/giving me some tips about were I should go. It’s important for me that it’s plenty of wind there, superb flat water spots, and of course as cheep as possible. It’s also nice if it’s possible to do other activities on those days with no wind. Would also be nice if someone could tell me how it is to travel around with a boat, kiting all day on different spots!

I live in Cape Town South Africa, we have wind all year round... on days when the wind drops you can go on a wine tasting tour, hike up the famous Table Mountain or swim with the sharks.... endless things to do.... the water isn't that cold here in Cape Town like everyone seems to think...I go out without a wet suit most of the time just use a second skin and baggies... I also have a back packers which is practically right on the beach and am willing to take you to all our hot spots, even where Aaron Hadlow likes to kite surf.
