Cape Verde could be good as the season is also just starting and also you would catch the end of the season in Mauritius. Don't know so much about those two but worth considering.

anyone got experiences kiting waves in Sardinia in Oct/Nov/Dec that they can share?

Sardinia- wind chop
Cabo verde- ground swell
Cape Town- ground swell

if you can get out to Oahu north shore pipeline that would probably be your best bet.
