I am sure that Saudi Arabia is not the kiteboarding destination that crosses your mind at first!
But check this out! You'll be surprised - A woman kiteboarding in Saudi Arabia...

This doesn't look plausible.

I am recently back from Saudi on a business trip. As far as I can make out:

1. Women who go out in Saudi have to be chaperoned by a man.

2. Go out hair uncovered and legs showing in Jeddah and you will get hissed at. Try the same in Riyadh and you will be detained by the religious police.

Why would you go to Saudi Arabia for a kiting holiday? Crazy expensive and no wind from what I've heard. Let alone the fact that it's an oppressive regime that supports wahabism and extremism. The fact that the spot is promoted by a total beginner who says 'lots of wind, just perfect' and pumps up a 12 does not help either lol. Way better places to go to for that kind of money.

This is to protect women from perverts like myself.

Just had that topic with a Brazilian...we were joking how the guys from such area would go crazy in brazil with all the girls showing their curves in front and back.

Yeah, why would you want to kite there when there are places like Brazil with almost daily wind?

If you want to make money, yeah, I get it, but if you want to have fun, skip the muslim world.
