egypt or cap verde vacations

Postby Kite Queretaro » Thu Jan 03, 2019 9:37 pm

What would be the better deal in end of February Egypt or Cap Verde.
Any one can give me some recommendations for kite schools and locations to stay?

Thank you

I'm currently working in cabo verde. The wind has been great the last few weeks. And it looks like it is staying :)

With Egypt I unfortunately don't have personal experience.

The island "Sal" in cape Verde has good conditions for beginners. But it's not the easiest place to learn. The positive side is that the wind is super stable. The difficulty is that the water is pretty choppy/wavy.

You will learn to kite properly here! Unlike in places where it's to easy

Looking to go with my wife a 10 months old baby. Can you tell if there is much to do other than kitesurfing? With this wind condition is looks as even siting at the beach in sunny weather it could be cold for a little one?

On the beach in Santa Maria you are pretty protected from the wind and it's normally nice to relax in the sun.

There is not much to do on Sal other then water sports. Kitesurfing, windsurfing, surfing, diving.

The town is small and has some nice restaurants.
