Don’t worry about safety. No problem at all 24 h.

KP is ok to walk from Abu Tig Marina or a.m. hotels.

But center of El Gouna way too far. Getting around with tuc tuc is cheap and fun.

Not sure about KP nowadays. There were projects I saw to build to whole area new with hotels etc.

Can be that they had to move further north now.
Been few years I went last time.

When looking on the map it looks like Abu Tig would pretty much be the center?
Is the location of Kite power, where you wrote that there are less shells and stones here, or was it at another spot back in the day?

No, there is a real center with more shops etc.

Abu Tig is the center for kiters ;-)
Most kiters stay around there.

That’s the new location of Kite Power!

Never kited there. Don’t know about corals.
Assume it is ok.

Element is sand.

And both should be deep enough even at low tide.

So did any one stay at the new soma bay movenpick? What was it like and the kite area there. Bit confused as some taking about the other older moves pick in hurghada. Is the wind gusty in the soma Bay Area one.?
What’s a good hotel near the kitecentee in Abu soma?

The further up the Soma Bay, the gustier.
So at 7 BFT Center it’s the gustiest. Specially the shallow area just downwind of the center.

The further downwind you go the cleaner the wind will be.
