Started kiting this year. Have had a ton of time to travel and kite some cool spots. I am progressing nicely and time to hit another spot ( south Florida wind sucks in the summer ) Next week I’m free for 10 days and looking into my options and decided on Brazil
( really wanted to do Cabarete but they extended the curfew another 45 days)
So as the title suggests: jericoacoara or Combuco ? I’ve never been to Brazil and wanted some input from people that have. Both have choppy beach break spots and Glass smoothe water to ride. What sets one apart from the other ? PS nightlife is a plus. This quarantine / no bars open Is killing me . Any input is greatly appreciated

Coronakitesurfer, did you go?
Can you or anyone else answer these questions -
Brazil will let americans/USA visit without quarantine, yes or no?
Has any americans from USA returned from Brazil recently?
What was the experience like with immigration coming back into USA?

I can comment on the nightlife in Cumbuco:
weekends is quiet packed, pretty relaxed here.
Fortaleza not. But, I heard some clubs gonna open soon.
Not sure for specific requirements for US citizens, but for all foreigners you need to provide a document that confirms you have a health insurance to cover costs of minimum 30.000 reais (or 100%).
You need to show it before boarding, otherwise the airline does not let you board.
A friend of mine (German passport) just came from Cabarete via Miami, and he didn't need a test.
But do verify this with your airline or official government info.

PS: Jeri is a 5-6 hours drive from Fortaleza I think...if you stay 10 days only you might loose two days of riding...Cumbuco is just 45 min.
