No, the beaches never got shut down.
We had two lockdowns, but still could buy food and walk on the beach.
And I don't see a new lockdown coming anytime soon, numbers slowly dropping.
And politics here are not crazy like in other places. People need to work to have food.

But Taiba lagoon will be full this year. Last year it was open to the ocean.
you mean:
full of people or
full of water?
or both?

What about Europe? How are the Canaries (Tenerife or Fuerteventura) in October to December?
I'd like to go for a month somewhere starting mid October, but would prefer to keep it in Euro land. Was thinking at the Canaries or maybe Tarifa.
Where do you think the wind is more consistent?

Currently Brazil is on the top of my list with Tenerife beeing second.
I've been to Tarifa years ago in October one or two weeks and we didn't have much wind and no wind > 17 kts at all.
I've been in Tenerife last Christmas with little wind, too. But still somehow I prefer Tenerife more then Tarifa. Everything is a bit smaller and mostly in walking distance.
About wind consistency I don't know. I would expect Tenerife to be quite good especially when you go a month. I think the wind in Fuerte is in general stronger but Fuerte never seemed appealing to me.

thanks for the reply. i went last year in summer to Tenerife and i've liked it. i think it deserves another chance.
Anyone has any info about south of Italy ? temperature wise i think it's good, wind wise? i'm looking for 20 knots+ days mostly and at least 16 C (preferably 20C )
