Can anyone please let us know if there are rules/regulations on where Winging is allowed or restricted in the Miami area? I understand kiting is only allowed in certain areas, but was hoping we could just wing in front of our rental in Miami. Could not find anything for windsurfing, which I figured would apply here.

Stay out of swim zones. Wear a leash to the board. 26th St and 76th St are the main launches. Most guards are cool with the wings but just ask the local guard before going out. Stay on the outside of the vessel markers unless you're in one of the designated zones. Hobie beach is great on an off shore wind and Virgina key is amazing on a strong North East.
