Progreso, Yucatan, Mexico?

Postby lifeinthehood » Sun Aug 14, 2022 7:20 am

So I’ll be traveling to Mérida for 6 months in Nov and I’m bringing kite gear with me (of course). Twin tip but also foiling gear. Progreso is the closest kite spot and it looks like a pretty decent setup for twin tipping. But for foiling, it sounds like it’s pretty shallow for pretty far out. Wanted to find out if anyone has been there and can tell me if it’s foil-able? I have a 90 cm mast. How far out would I have to go? If that’s too tall for that area, would 70 cm work?
