I think the best thing about kitesurfing is that it turns what 95% of the people in the world consider shitty conditions in to perfect conditions.
There is also something super zen about the wind / wave combo that's hard to describe.

Dancing with nature, freedom, the sound of silence, the ocean, feeling like peter pan, and i just love the sensation of a carving jibe, never gets old...

Being able to go where normal people can't go.
25-35 knots of wind and ride in a beautiful 'landscape' of breaking North Sea waves...
Feel free enjoy purely the moment think of nothing but the next wave or jump....

Hearing the whistling of the wind in your lines when you are perfectly powered up in the sweet spot.

I got out the other day after a super gusty session on my 8m torch. Last person on the beach. It got dark as I packed up so I thought, f*** climbing the cliff in the dark so opted for the long walk back to the path.
Pitch black, pounding surf, 35+mph wind. I felt like the last man on earth.
Can't describe those feels to normals. Only kiters get it.

"Filming myself and then watching myself on film."
..
Doesn't get any better than this. Our Potus is like minded. Sept he tweets to get the same ego rush.
..
Pretty much sums up the depth of mankind right now,
,,,
and why we could give a sheet about a lot of other stuff.
..
Par-te on .. It won't last for long.

Having just got out on a surfboard, riding in warm wind and water - after a few weeks of not riding - and loving the grip of the bare feet on the wax of the strapless surfboard.
Blue/turquoise warm waters, the occasional turtle you avoid, few others riding, waves breaking on the reef - not thinking that only a few hours ago you flew in, away from work and mundane life... All of the skills coming back, and riding in bliss....couple more hours.
And then beer on the beach and lying on the hot sand, wondering when to quit work and if I can make it without the monthly check, and what it takes to retire
