Thanks Dave, so FRX is only kitefoil or is it also windfoil ?

Yeah I think their windfoil one design is called rsx:convertible

Pretty wild that in 2018 we are seeing inflatable kites winning a course race, and TT boards placing 2nd!

Yeah, but like Dave said, in 20+ knots efficiency doesn't win the race, grunt does!

Not a course race, just a downwind (broad reach) distance race.
The key to winning this year was not to crash. Last year in the same distance race there was half as much wind and I did the course 1 minute faster. In the 12-14 kts last year, the hydrofoil and foil kites were WAY ahead of the twintip and inflatable kites.

I found this topic while searching for any info on NP FRX OD. My interest was triggered after I heard a guy on FRX kit (inflatable kite) won over all the ram air kite rivals, mostly Ozone!
Well, that's already something!
What competition did you hear this from?
