I use a 55cm Ozone bar which works fine. I can’t say I can tell an obvious difference between it and the FS (50cm) bar. Haven’t tried any sent loops yet but it loops really nicely for downloop transitions and the like.
I take that Soul can be flown on any 4 line bar so I can keep using my Ozone bar? I was going to buy Hyperlink but now if I can use the same bar Soul probably is the better option but then no second hand market yet $$$$
Yes you can!

Bear in mind Flysurfer recommend 21m lines. Likely your Ozone bar will have 25m lines on it. Thats why I use the race bar - you can get 21m lines with this but not with the standard Ozone bar.

I have to say seeing this video and reading the reviews it’s certainly very impressive.
The comparisons/differences between the HL and Soul I suppose should be based on their respective designs and as stated in this thread “not even a fair comparison”.
Both designs goals presumably have been met so it’s up to the customer to make their informed choice.
Not flown a Soul “yet” but looking at the video I can see that’s it a great performer, the speed of the turns and water relaunch is very good/excellent.
It’s got me thinking .....

I would like to see if the soul would self land at the edge of the window by tethering the chicken loop and see if it would sit still , my Flysurfer unity would do it in steady wind .

As a person who has flown all the flysurfer kites from speeds to sonics and a few ozone kites like hyperlink and r1 i can confidently say that ozone kites are not in the same league as flysurfer. flysurfer makes a more sporty dynamic and performance type kite where ozones are more of tamed version of the competition. both great companys and kites but flysurfers have the edge. I always say if u never flown a foil kite then go with a ozone if u have some experience and want a step up in performance go with the flysurfer.

Not sure many would agree with the above - it completely depends on the kite. Hyperlink is a good first foil kite, Chrono is higher performance and R1 is a race kite. Equally Flysurfer make several different kites. Of all the foil kites I’ve flown, the Soul imho is probably the easiest to get on with coming from flying LEIs.
