Duotone News:
Officially announced: North becomes Duotone
Boards & More, the company who started the Kiteboarding side of North Sails, will become officially Duotone Kiteboarding.
They just released their new website:
www.duotonesports.com
First products will be launched August 1st 2018. The Rebel 2019 will be the first product branded with the Duotone logo.

"Duotone" will forever remind me of a 1950's doo-wop band (e.g., the Monotones, the Cleftones, the Quin-tones, Dick Dale and the Del-Tones, Kenny Vance and the Planotones, the Deftones (they aren't '50's or doo wop, but still have the name)......).
But I know "the Duotones" will produce some great kites. Shaboom, shaboom.

I’ve not followed the thing and I don’t understand how what I perceived to be the best selling brand could shut down, obviously I was wrong.
Whatever, “duotone” is possibily the worst brand name I’ve ever witnessed: it sounds like a drug to be used in chemiotherapy. Somebody please fire the brand manager.
