So, why don't we give them a last chance and a hand to show them that there are a million better brand names than duotone. From the top of your head, put down a better brand name than duotone...
I'm not a North fanboi but how about "Rebel Kitesurfing"?
It's an easy task so anything will sound better than Duodenum. Rebel sounds cool but wouldn't it compromise their flagship kite model?
Was just checking the ION website for harnesses. Amazing how almost any of their product brand names would be better. Apex kiteboarding?

They are great kites and I am sure they will remain great kites.
As for the name, the first thing I thought of was "fake tan" product.

So funny. I've been on North gear for 12 years now and have never heard of this guy. Now, all of a sudden, we see 25 completely staged photos of him surveying all the equipment with his duotone shirt on, acting like he designed it all. Does this guy even kite?
For the record huge respect for North. He has bin the manager for a long while. BUT one thing I can't understand... headquarter in Munich?!?!?! How is that possible? I go there very year on Ispo and you can't get much further away from kitespots... Way inland... Got the be the worst place in all of Europe to run a kite company? Closest coast is just long drive through two countries...

The headquarters will be where the accountants work. You don't want those guys bunking off early because its windy. The design office will probably be somewhere else close to the shore (probably maui)

First thing it reminded me of is two-tone paintwork!

Duotone is a photographic effect means literally two tones, here's a Photoshop ad
It's so typical of arrogant German marketing departments using an English word that sounds OK to them but has an actual meaning to us English speakers totally irrelevant to its application.

Working in graphics and web design...this name feels incredibly out of place to use for a water sports brand.
