Time to shut this thread down, to much energy being consumed. Past the point of offsets being effective :shout:

MM is the only honest to goodness genuine troll I’ve ever seen on this forum after being a member for what, 13 years now?
.
He will sabotage any thread, rate kites he hasn’t flown, and spew utter nonesense and pick fights with anyone but anyone.
....
Why Toby allows him to continue to post is beyond me since many others much less evil have been banned.
..
A true racist to boot.

I buy carbon fiber hydrofoils to offset the CO2 produced by driving to my kiting spots.

How so? The term "racist" has been changed (by certain academia) to exclude some forms of bigotry previously considered racism. This has lead to certain types of obvious racism being excluded from being considered wrong. While at the same time, new forms of racism are being created/redefined to be based on the inherent racial identity of the accused. Thus there are some serious problems with "logical consistency" in calling someone a racist in most circumstances if using these new definitions. So, any accusation of racism needs to be qualified in the present time so its validity can be evaluated based on whether or not you accept the standard definition or the new ones. And please present evidence when accusing someone of this as it will help with qualifying the accusation.

Should you just post the singular accusation of racism without qualification and evidence, YOU the poster, are typically seen as a bigot yourself.

I get it. Your still pretty new here.... 15 months in and all. You might not have picked up on it yet!

He's an a$$hole.

And as evidence, I would like to submit his entire body of work as presented here on this handily searchable forum.

Great link, but not examples I can comprehend from your point of view. I failed to see any racism, at least from the standard definition, on M&M's part.

However if you consider these attributes to make M&M racist:
1. Criticism of typically leftist environmental policy.
2. Criticism of a former US president.
3. Support of a current US president.
4. Posting a video of a Canadian professor who is demonstrably falsely accused of being a racist.
5. His assumed race (possibly white or may be considered to "look" white - sorry for this assumption if wrong)

- then you would be correct in your accusation from the new definition of "racist".

Again, I have a problem with the word "racist" being based the race of the one accused (or absolved) of being racist as in #5. That is circular logic that turns out to not be logically consistent. Or rather, some mental gymnastics are required, which I am incapable of, to align with this line of thinking. Though I will admit, a large portion of society seem to be capable and willing to perform those contortions.

The other four are simply the stated views of the person which, are not directly or indirectly racist (from my quick research to page 7 of the links as related to the standard definition of "racism"). These are nothing more than views in opposition to yours.

You took some time in your post. I also took some time in this one and looking through your link. I did not find anything that would make me think M&M is racist from the standard definition.

So can I assume you are making a racist accusation based on the race and/or non-racial views of M&M?

And again, could you present me with an example of his racism with respect to the standard definition of "racism"? If not, then you are in the group of people viewed in the way as I explained in the last line of my previous post - at least to some. But I would say you do have lots of company there.
