Jokes aside, have you tried the bar? I'm very happy with the bar since 2016, only issue I have is the knot that get's stuck when going into the tube when flagging the kite, which wears real quick and is dangerous if it tears and breaks since the kite flies away.
2018 bar has a bearing or some other friction-lowering device in the BTB manual swivel, so untwisting the lines is much easier. Can't comment on the tube, sorry.

Yeah, that's been there since the 2015 I believe. The problem is not untwisting the lunes, but the flag line gets stuck on the entrance to the tube if you release or just want to extract a piece of the line to examine it... it passes through the tube entrance by force and every time you do this a piece of the line goes away, after very few times the line is frayed enough that I wouldn't trust it too much...

If that's true re. the swivel, then the 2017 ones didn't work -- very stiff to unspin.
I've never noticed the tube problems, sorry.

Some internal bits on the system were redesigned in 2017 and the knot is smaller allowing a more consistently smooth transition through the polyurethane tube during flagging.

This might be true for a new bar on the first couple of uses but after a few sessions it's pretty much the same. I have the 2016 and 2018 bar. The new 2018 is already exhibiting the problem after some 10 sessions. Inside the little plastic stopper, the union of the two lines gets squashed so much that it makes a sort of thick pancake that doesn't like to go inside the tube. I take care of my bar and make sure it's not sandy and leave it in a bucket for a while every couple of sessions, I don't see sand blocking it or anything similar.
If the cons of fixing this affect the ergonomics or performance of the bar, then it's fine, just ship one or two extra flag lines with the bar so we can change it when it wears down. On my 2016 bar it got real bad, so I asked Cabrinha and they told me it's my fault, two local sponsored riders told me huh?, obviously cause they don't really flag the kite or care that much about equipment care (they get new stuff anyways). Thankfully my dealer even acknowledged the problem, was aware of what I was talking about and sent me a replacement line immediately.

........... It has more power than the drifter and FX but turns fast like them (as a 3 strut kite as well) and has the jumping and hangtime of the switchblade...........
Well, that would be a real gamechanger!
Is this your impression, or the marketing blah?
More power than FX but same turning? Then I suppose they will get rid of the FX as nobody will need it anymore.....?
And then the same hangtime as the Switchblade, too?
Sounds too good to be true, sorry mate
Sounds a bit fishy... so only advantages over the FX and SB? Why need those models then?

Makes you wonder what drives marketing men? Money, power, the fact they can screw one over their fellow man?

I have about 50 hours on the new FX and at least on the new "freestyle" setting it has more slack and is more dedicated to unhooked freestyle than the 2018 model. Definitely a different feel than the Moto which I've rode at the dealer meeting. Only rode the 12m and 14m sizes on a foil since winds were light then.

if you want a freestyle kite then get a proper C kite, chaos wasnt bad but i think its not going to be on 2019 lineup...fx was way too fast for freestyle

I was riding the Chaos for 2018, the 2019 FX is slower on the freestyle setting. It'll stay parked nice and feels more like a true C
