This will be super interesting moments in marketing: which more people buy - unkown brand (Duotone) with known kite names Rebel, Vegas and etc or Known brand name (North) with unknown new engineered kites with zero known names
World will face super interesting kite brands battle in near future

Buy Slingshot. What a time to be a big, stable brand without identity disorder!

Windsurfers went with Ezzy sails, when David Ezzy the former North windsurf sail designer formed his own company. If you want the kites to be like Cabrinha, go with the new North, If you like the current North kites, go with Duotone. North windsurf sails sucked for many years after Dave Ezzy left.

Duotone doesn’t need to prof anything...North does.
Plus DT has a year ahead...that could make the difference.

The other established kite brands must be privately laughing behind their hands - what an utter shambles.

So far it would seem the competitors are the only winners in all of this. Complete PR circus and incalculable loss of brand value for B&M and North Sails.

don't underestimate marketing...if Dt and North puts a lot of money into marketing, like advertising and presence at demo events...they will get more attention then the other brands.
Just saying...future knows!
