Picking up the 633 tomorrow. Am I stoked or what!!
I suspect I'll get even better low end with my Hyperlink 9. Be interesting to find out!

Do you guys think I should use my usual 135 cm board I've been using last 8 months or go for the pocket straight away?

Do a pocket right away. You won't be touching water much on 633.
Remember the stance of 633 is about 1.5" forward (or mast should be mounted about 1.5" backward") compared to 548/550/590
Get ready for lower top speed but also for ultimate lowend too

I broke down and ordered a 633 wing/ fuselage/ stab setup for my fluente mast..
So many positive reviews and my progression has stalled ( no pun intended).
I suspect it will be my go-to setup, been enjoying more swell /small wave riding on the 590, and could use easier ride to learn flying footswitch.
Have not used 550 at all this year..
...
590 and 633 have been shining stars from the moment they appeared. Irresistible and can't wait to see what 2019 will bring

For sure!!
Quite a bit. At least way easier in low end conditions.

Does anyone know if the shims work as good as placing the mast back for the 633/Moses T60? I mean: can I just go for tho 633/T60 with a shim or is it better to make tracks (or extra holes 4 cm back) in the T60?

I had my doubts, but after testing it myself I have to say it works very well.
I did not test all characteristic details back to back and in different conditions, but have to say that I do not feel the need to do that now.
Works well, so simple.
On higher aspect wing sets it wouldn't work the same way for sure though.

Agree that it works quite well....I do wonder if it impacts the smoothness of the ride a bit (tiny bit of turbulence) but I wouldn't know without riding it without the shim. The other option is to try shimming the mast attachment point like this Delta video explains: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVdSx5eNdUA

I’ve tried both shimming points r.e stabiliser and mast to fuselage .
Both reduce front foot pressure equally , but I have experienced turbulence when shimming the rear stabiliser which I didn’t get with the other method .

Just about to get my first foil, local dealer sells Moses so that is what it looks like it will be. A lot of windsurfing experience and kiting since 2004, 86kg.

Planining on getting the 590 Fluente Easy setup, but as always when I get beginner-level-stuff, concerned of out-growing it quickly.

I kite fast and love high-speed carving and boosting. Should i go for a 550 instead perhaps, and opt for a longer mast?

Also on the board selection. Have seen and heard a lot of love on the pocket boards and the feeling of flying. The T38 looks really nice and sports the mast tracks as well. Is it like a really bad idea to try learn on it?... I have a lot of kiting experience so I am thinking I will manage it somehow and then be happy because that is what I want to ride... But un-sure if the learning will be to hard.

On the board issue, for you that have seen them. The T38 seems to come with inserts, the T60 Sport is said on the web-shop to have inserts as well. Nothing mentioned on the T60 Carbon or Glass, but screws sold for straps are all self-threading as far as I can tell. Do you know which boards have inserts and which do not?

Thanks!
