There is, but in a seperate group where most will be anonymous, and not really needed in this "easy" poll :D

To throw in my two cents, I'd say you want to keep loose front straps for when you're learning to launch and ride downwind. Then you want to retake them off so your feet can explore the balance of the wing which will help with toe-side and touch down turns. Then when your turning on demand and ready to start jumping put them back on.

I took my straps off after a twenty minute chat with John the Physio who told me my knees don't like crashing in staps. Launching in swell without straps is a pain but the increase in kite skill you need to develop is worth the trade off.

So I'd say Straps on, straps off, straps on for jumping.

And wear a helmet!
