Is this legit? If so he has had a steep learning curve.
Luis Pastore has done it he's previously done 25m so maybe real.

Woo says they're investigating it. It's possible but wind needed to be extremely strong. I did 25.8m with flat water as well but with gusts up to 54 kts recorded with an 8m.
Did anybody record the wind during the jump? If the wind was blowing < 40kts I say it's fake.

The way his stats have improved are very admirable or spurious.

I thought that, he’s been jumping around 10m for months before then suddenly starts bashing out 25-30m jumps

If it's fake, it could be damaging to WOO.

Is 8.9sec enough time for that sort of jump?

Maybe, Kevin Langeree's 28.3m jump was 9.1s according to WOO, but that was in around 40 knots on a 9m kite.

I don't think so. 10 seconds is more so the norm for > 26-27m jumps.

This guy posted a 24m jump from Taiba Lagoon on a day I was there to feel the wind conditions. Did not see him jump, but I am HIGHLY doubting that that was legitimate. Video of any of his recent sessions would be nice to see. If I were him, once I started jumping 20m regularly in Brazil I would have cameras trained on me 24/7.
