10c/m? Even in bulk 12 braided quality lines from the manufacturers in Europe cost a lot more than this.

saw a 10km roll of uhmwpe for commercial fishing a fair few years ago 200kg

i better do some research.. i would guess u can get 10km at 28c, something like that, from a quick look (350kg)

i am sure the company was called kite lines.. it was about 6 years ago though

also i have had line sets with overhand knots and no sleeving for years and they never snapped. ( larks head)

i wonder what the true reality strength reduction is. i am sure there would be somd reduction but maybe not that much..?

I remember seeing a post about strength reduction with different type of knots.Seemed to be around 20 - 40 % .Never sure how that translated into the "real" world.

I never pay more than $350 for new bars. Shop around you can find great deals on 1 or 2 year old bars. I recently bought a 2017Slingshot sentinal 27m bar for $299.....great bar , works perfect with my 17m Flite..

Cheapkitelines.com maybe? Although they never had 10km of the same line on stock. I know because I bought them out last year, mainly because of the lines they had in stock as having a wide variety of lines is always handy when repairing bars.

About knots, in Dyneema/spectra/uhmpe lines you lose 70% of the strength with a simple overhand knot in de line. When put in a loop to connect to another line there is less reduction

Many new bars available on sale in the united states for $200 to $300 online. Just google it.
