Absolutely fantastic TT is waves. I have the non-carbon version ~150x48. I ride surfboards and this TT in the waves, and I am happy to ride either.

Toeside/healside on the waves are great, popping over waves is super easy. Mine is large enough to surf the wave with almost no kite power.
You cannot carve as hard as a surf board because you are missing BIG fins.

Lots of rocker (so you very rarely nose dive), great concave. Makes the board quite good in chop.

What do you think of the pads-footstraps worth buying or just the board?

Never given any footpads much thought, but they work fine.

Bigtone, how many cm wide is your Nomad? Can you compare to a Mako 150 or 165? Thank you!

I have the Mako 165 and my Nomad is 150x48.

I have not ridden the Mako since I got the Nomad. Nothing else to say.

Okay, I thought maybe you meant it was 43cm wide. Is the lower wind performance equal to the 165 Mako ? I'm quite interested in a Nomad so thanks much for your input.

I found them roughly equivalent.

I am not a fan of original straps and pads. If you take other model you have to check that those fit in board inserts (bolt length) and so on.
