Hmm, look at the water, it looks like 0 wind, also why not a pic like 2 seconds after that showing how the Soul recovered on it's own. Keep pulling strings there

Or.... 2 second later it gets worse ...all the strings get tangled up and the low pressure twin skin bag becomes a big messy ball

Wondering how long is it going to take for an argument that “LEI wouldn’t get up in that wind at all” to pop..
It is so easy to predict the future nowadays

^^^it’s kind of good idea to “preinflate” the LEI, to like 10 psi. 7 or 8 would do for the riders of lesser strength or for zeppelin-sized LEIs

$16 000 US the full retail cost of proposed olympic kitesurfing kit.
They are lowlife kooks, they talk the talk( youth involvement/ 3rd world country participation) but dont walk the walk$
The whole premise to me was that kiteboarding ( as opposed to sailing) offered incredible on water performance / speed with even budget equipment.. especially compared to sailing.
Pre foiling Americas cup, i was kiting in NZ over taking their 4$ million boat on budget kitesurfing kit.
There is always a place for formula one style gear simply because that is what sone people want to enjoy; however, always when there is equipment profit $ involved youth, foreward thinking, 3rd country participation comes in last.
foils could offer better fluid mechanical advantages in theory ( well kind of have); however, when you have such awesome performance from Cheap Leis and twintips ( without expense of hydrofoils) why not support these .
an expensive niche of a nich of a niche, fine for some, a huge expense barrier for most.
