Hi Armin,
I understand the Peak kite has much more power than twin skin kite? What size kite would you suggest the Peak 11 meter is close to in power?

Thank you
Jim

Did you test the water relaunch?

Armin said previously that the water relaunch is about 50/50. I'd love to see someday a super Light weight kite like the Peak but with the super easy relaunch of the Soul for example!

The Peak has about 20-30% more grunt as a same size foil kite. But singelskin don't accelerate like a double skin.

The Peak is optimized to be as light as possible and have no extras for a reliable water relaunch. But especially the Peak 4 easier to keep it in light wind in the air.

Waterlaunch can be possible with a 50:50 chance.

Armin,
How much faster would you say the Peak4 11m is compared to the Peak3 12m?

Thanks!!!

Very significant. It fly's faster and can a lot turn tighter with less flapping.

Hi Armin, Im about to buy Peak 4. I rode Peak 3 6m. Its sweet size and im really sorry that 6 isnt any more. Its big enough to go uphill in lower attitudes and small enough to survive ridge winds.
Which size is now in your opinion closest to universality of 6? On mountain expeditions there is often not possible to change kites and 6 was well regarded as one mountain kite quiver.

Many thanks!

Tomas
