I thought it was just me struggling to get a fit with boots on.
Thought maybe I'd been sold a wrong size.
Like the idea of trying your mod out but struggling to find it in the UK.

If you buy 50mm self adhesive Velcro (for example from Amazon/Halford's) you can easily extend the Apex straps by making back to back 'hook' and 'loop' strips and trim to size.

I appreciate that, just liked the idea of the original posters quick fix of loop through and done.
I'll have a look around see what's about.
Also have Atan boots, just didn't think they were as worm as my double lined boots for winter.

Takes less than 15 minutes but hey, you can take a horse to water but ...

Why I don't post very often.
Yes I'm sure the way you suggest is quick and easy and something I will look at.

That's exactly what I've done. Two pieces of a velcro tape stitched to the end of the original strap. Works well after 2 years of heavy use.
Was fine with 3mm Atan boots, struggling a little with my new 6mm Solite, just too narrow. I'm size 9 UK, 43 EUR btw.

When it gets too cold for my 3mm Atan boots I wear the below Solite neoprene socks inside the Atans. Toasty all through winter.
