Is the peak 4 water relaunchable ? Was really interested in this kite as a light wind option for kitesurfing as its lightweight but very powerful for its size , however the chance of water relaunch is probally close to zero percent . check out my test of the kite on this video.

Hello Thomas.

The new PEAK 4 loop a lot tighter to be able to climb up the hills which helps to not be soo overpowered once up the hills.
We have more even more sizes. Printed sizes are rounded at PEAK 4. Take the 5 which is almost 5.5m2 flat.

Merry Christmas to all!

I wonder if some slits/mesh panels in the leading edge, to let water drain out, would solve this issue?

They can, but i wonder if FS are willing to cannibalize market share for they other product. But for sure Peak 4 is very special kite with very unique characteristic that only SS can offer. I very hope that there will be development to make this usable as freeride/wave hydrofoil kite - as this kite is much better for this /from my POV/ than f.e. SOUL. Soul is very good kite but its too universal.
Instant depower /mid WW/- total stability while depowered without overflying - LEI like steering + best zenith hang from all kites ever - thats Freeride/wave hydrofoil kite dream. Only thing missing is relaunchability.

This is exactly one of the 2 types of modification i had in mind . The kite has alot of potential as the ultimate lighwind kite both on land and water . Mr. Armin are our royalty checks in the mail for peak 5 . Thank u

I think Its safe to say the peak will not compete with the other high performance kites like soul , sonics and so on because although its a great light wind kite its just dosent perform like those so the market share is safe in my opinion

Peak is interesting as light wind but also high wind kite... This is quite unique. Actualy for me it is high wind behavior which is "class leading"

PS.

Armin, thanks for considering!
