I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I can't find it. By now I have a variety of old kites lying around. My wife disposed of my three old C-kites and will not even tell me what she did with them. But now I have about 10 old bow kites that I will never ride again, so what to do with them??? Just like with old C-kites, I don't feel comfortable selling them cheaply as they will either fail with valves coming off or be so nasty as to put a newbie off kiting (think 2011 Waroo). For most of them I got good use out of them, like my ancient 14m Waroo, and they are irredeemably patched up and variously repaired. Most are Best kites, waroos, bullaroos, nemesis, kahoonas, even a 6m Cabo I no longer use.

Nice wallet or bag could be made from old kite. If you have interest in that or you know someone who can make them could be nice gift.

Offer them for free pick up or so.
Craig’s list? eBay for fixed 1 USD plus shipping?
Or ask people on your local beach if they have an idea or know someone who wants them?

I can hardly believe you have 10 old kites that are so used up you can't sell them. Put them all on ebay as a lot, someone will buy them. At $20 per kite that's $200. Sell them as "for parts only".

A fellow kiter told me the other day he used his old kites to cover his plants to protect them from freezing..
