What I found interesting is that Tom on Austrian forum is laying 2019 12m over 2018 12m and saying that everything is identical yet in Real video at 2:05 same kites pumped up appear to be different sizes?!?

I dont give much for REAL reviews, They as you said, they never comes with negative things. What was important for me in Sam light review was, that he said, it had less slack.
Funny that they haven’t released a new fuel?

Tbh. the best thing you can do is contact your local dealer and ask to demo the kites, since characteristics like slack/turning speed vary depending on your bar/line setup.
I found that the difference is minimal but it's definitely there. Even without riding the kite, just by looking at the changes you can tell that the kite will turn a little faster due to the backline connection points moving outward. Ideally they should've left the 4th loop or increased the spacing so that the innermost loop wouldve been in the same place.
Would get 2019 if you're more into freestyle/freeriding and big air. Personally i'll be staying on 2018th for now.

I was hoping for a a little extra height on jumps. My powered looping side just happens to be my weaker jumping side. I'm always trying to get higher when looping. I'm so unbalanced that the thought of perfecting my loops on other side is something I don't want to go through. I broke my golden rule, learn both sides at same time.

I wonder if the new designer was Bill Hansen? I believe he said he was doing some work with SS.
