Another request if possible - when you search for a very common word, you are not allowed to search...
Even if you put a rare poster (or a frequent poster) in the advanced search, so the number of topics found will be very small.
This means the search feature can often not be used, even if you know WHO posted something, but can not remember any of the "longer" keywords

Is there a problem getting too many hits btw?
I dont think so, as I can just search for kite* and get almost 200000 matches, and I can jump to each and everyone of these.

Problem is, the "too common word" algorithm, goes before the number of hits so even if you put a poster in the field so quite few results, you are not allowed to

Also, if you search a specific users post first (easy, no restrictions), which gives a very limited number of results, than you are not allowed to search for any common word in these, so you have no chance of finding what you look for, if a common used word, even if relatively few posts from one user

Seems like a flaw to me, especially after so many years with many posts, and also new kitesurfers, that the search is restricted.

Unless there is a technical reason, but I can not see one, as I can get loads of results by say searching for *kite* getting 233940 posts.

It could be a reminiscense from older times, where computers and mobiles didnt have much memory nor cpu power - but it makes no sense today, just a menace IMO

If there's a split vote then perhaps put a flag in user control panel. Would also be useful to be able to put weight kg in sigs because rider weight is often critical in board and particularly kite reviews. But a great site and if nothing gets changed then I wouldn't be concerned.

Please update google map code in the spot section. It gives "cant load map" error at the moment. AND some reason spot images pops up very small eventhough original image sizes are in a decent size.
