I agree on eliminating Cape Town. First, the winds start deminishing in March. Second, the only flatwater spot is Langebaan or the lagoon at Hermanus, both rather far away. But food is relatively cheap and there are longterm hostel type arrangements in Tafelberg near Bloubergstrand. Might just be time to learn to ride in the ocean??
Noone has mentioned Cape Hatteras, which would be cold in February, but gets to be good by April (we go for a week every April), albeit not a cheap place to stay, especially solo.

Thailand. 500 to 700 euro for all expenses (accommodation, motorbike, food and drinks) monthly. February not so good but March and April thermal constant wind every afternoon. Warm and cheep.
How strong is the wind?
In Hua Hin ?
Depends on the day, could be 10-15 knots, or 15-20 if it’s good day. Speaking of thermal wind season (March -May)

See, that’s why I don’t recommend it...10-15 is ok for a Hydrofoil but not TT rider.

Hey guys, thanks for all your replies!
I will focus my search on Cap Verde, Columbia and Dakhla.
Thailand sounds very nice, since I love the food. But I would like some stronger wind consistency.
Thanks again!
