Any info from this new kite? I searched and could find only a picture and a short very general discussion of it. It seems to have 31 cells and shape of it is typical of mid AR kite.
Knowing the high design quality PL has had in Aeros I think this kite is worth noticing.
I did a quick study of Nova in SP and found cell count/air intake locations/bridle configuration a bit problematic. But I guess there is some decent solution available. As we know some kite designers just don't care details very much - some 30% more bridle (drag), weird air intake locations, long single bridle lines, missing cascades, unoptimized cell widths etc. etc. - who cares
I don't think PL foil kite designer is one of these.

It isn't launched yet, but is planned for this year if I am correct.
Will be a really simple no nonse mid- to low-AR foilkite with a short compact bridle.

Ok. Cell count is relatively high for the AR (same as in Hyperlink). So it could be less ambitious design or simpler but obviously it is not. Canopy looks clean.
31 cells is a very good choice in general but like I wrote I struggled with how it is done in Nova, mainly because there is 4 air intakes and 5 cells in between them. At the moment I prefer how 31 cells and 5 air intakes are combined in Hyperlink. Interesting to see how it is done in Nova. Challenge is to design bridle and inner structures appropriately with these two.

I found full range of Nova kites with prices in Yens. Also in dutch site there is 12m V1 to pre order for 1215€ so I guess it should be available soon.

Looks interesting for the non-race hydrofoilers among us.

Even racers love something different from time to time
Can't wait to ride the 4m again this spring, super fast yet very predictable and easy on the bar and it popped open every time after the most horrible fuckups.
Still have to test the bigger sizes.
