Does it make sense to replace my Enduro 12m with a 12m Alpha for general freeriding with surf an TT? As I‘m only 63kg a 12 is my biggest kite. Currently I have 5/7/9 Enduro V2 and a 12 V1. I feel that the range of my 12m is limited and I could get more lowend from the Alpha.

Based on the rest of your quiver I'd say stick with the Enduro's and get a V2 12m. The Alpha 12m has a little bit more bottom end but loses out in the top end.

Hi Windsuks! Did you have more sessions with Alpha 12m? I am in doubt between Reo 12m and Alpha 12m for my biggest kite (strapless wave only, side-on conditions). My others are drifters 2018 10m and 8m. Thanks!

Love Alpha v1 test in marginal condition wave and foil, very light, easy and power, is perfect for all condition.

Had a few sessions on my 12m Alpha. Amazing on the foil but struggling to get upwind with it on my twin tip unless the winds really picks up. Very stable and jumps really well but slightly concerned about the upwind performance on the twin tip. Maybe it’s the warm Egyptian wind compared to UK

I had the 10 and 12 Alpha kite,
and found them really great for foiling, with silly easy relaunch, but not great for use on a Ttip, upwind and boosting on a Ttip is compromised, may work well on a wave board, as its so light and delivers smooth power in light winds,
Large Alpha kites would be my first choice as an lei for foiling if the new generation foil kites were not so good.

I have the chance to truy an Alpha and the endurso just feels better in every way, but that said, I'm just a fucking enduro lover. Kitelooping power!

Had another session on my 12m Alpha yesterday. Much more success getting upwind but there was a definite breeze but hard to judge wind speed. Think I just need to work on my technique, been spoilt by my Slingshot Rally’s which just drag you upwind with little effort.

can't confirm that at all, Alpha 8m and smaller do work great in waves too. Try tp replace your 10m REO with an 8 Alpha and you will be surprised .
