What are people's experiences with protective foil covers? What's the best bang for the buck? Separate for front/back wing/mast, or integrated?

Just ordered a set of these to try out on my Delta Hydrofoil:
https://greenhatkiteboarding.com/foilbo ... igh-aspect
They also make a set for low-aspect wing setups.

so easy to make from neoprene sheets which are very cheap to buy on Ebay,
Any good and loving wife will knock them together on a domestic sewing machine.
stretchy neoprene will fit many sizes of wing and mast, and take up minimal space.

A quick look at Ebay - it seems like a neoprene sheet large enough to make a mast/wing cover would work out at around $30 + shipping. Not sure about the wife part though ... perhaps she's not "good and loving" enough?

I've made foil covers out of ancient wetsuit sleeves or legs and shock cord -- a lot more protective than the ones that came with my Cloud9 foils, and really easy to make and use.

for the standard size wings and rear wings I found a great item to use that comes free with every North bar is the great bar bag you get, it holds 3 front wings and 2 rear wings, just slip in thin cuts of foam to keep them from scratching each other and zip them up, great for most smaller type wings.
the inner zip bag holds screws and small driver as well.

Some foils are coming with protective bag already, not?
I thought it was the case at least for Slingshot, did I misread?

Just got these today, they fit great, awesome workmanship...really glad I pulled the trigger, good value for money if you don't want to sew your own.
