Foil/Rider/Weight/Conditions make direct comparison difficult, and as a disclaimer I generally fly underpowered compared to most people.
With long lines I can hydrofoil on the 9 as long as the kite will fly steady at the zenith. 9-10 knots?
With short lines I can go up to 18-20 knots. More with a TT.
A complimentary kite depends a lot on what you want to do.
I fly 7m hyperlink more than any other kite but not over 20 knots on a foil. There is plenty of overlap between the 5 and 9m hyperlink.
I would probably downsize to a 6 if it was a tube and you wanted a 2 kite quiver. Maybe 5 if you want foil only. And I'd probably get a Boxer instead. I'd consider the Ozone one strut but I did not fly it.

Thanks,am considering the Ozone Alpha too ,but like you , once it reaches 20kts will be on a surfboard hence thinking wave kite (Reo or Swell -I have trade accounts with Ozone and Peter Lynn as have a kiteschool ) as one struts good range but no great top end.

I'm 78-80 kg on moses 633 wing. I'd say I'm intermediate foiler.
9m Ozone Hyperlink UL. about 80 sessions this year. Range 10-18knots
7m Ozone Hyperlink about 10 sessions this year. Range 14-22knots.
20m lines on both.
There is a lot of overlapping on 9 and 7. But given my local conditions, but I find them a good complement. I'm sure I'd get more topend out of the 7m with shorter lines. I don’t think I'd be using a Ozone Hyperlink 5m much.
I have an Ozone 5m Reo I've never used....

Mar,
I have used the Ozone Catalyst V1 8 and 6m for foiling and find that it is a very good choice as well as it has a softer feel in gusty conditions when compared to the Ozone Enduro or Edge which are much more aggressive and powerful feeling especially when hit by a gust . I am 70Kg and with medium aspect HF i use my Hyperlink 7m up to 22m but prefer to switch out sooner like 18kts.. and move over to Catalyst V1 6m which would take me to about 27/28kts and handles the gusts really well. For yourself the Catalyst V1 7m or now the V2 in a 6.5m could be a good choice to compliment your 9 Hyperlink.
I have tried the 10m Alpha only and was impressed how the super light framework was very solid in 12-16kts and would imagine the smaller sizes to handle well in the higher winds for hydrofoiling.

I'm 80kg on a Slingshot Hoverglide. I use a 9m Hyperlink from 10 to 16kts and then use a 6m Ozone Reo from 15 to about 23kts. I have an old 2012 Catalyst 4m but this doesn't get much use. I really love the Reo for foiling. Fast, good drift and ample depower.

I'm 78kgs on a P foil. I fly my 7m LEI from 14 knots to low 20s. I don't like to be uncomfortably powered on a foil. I think you'd need to go down to a 5m (or smaller) from 20 knots on the P-foil.
Out of interest, you might find that changing to the k-wing might be cheaper than a kite and get you the extra top end from your hyperlink? The P foil generates a lot of lift that makes it less comfortable to ride as you get more powered

I miss the classic Ozone design of the XC and RX kites.
