OK men,
Take a look at these dimensions and give me some feedback. Is there anything glaringly stupid that I should change?
Brief is to be reasonable the the following things,
Upwind
Chop
Boosting
Wave riding.
As soon as your tips are curved, you lose more energy where the water releases. Going forward the rear tip would dictate the efficiency, so I'd make that flatter.plummet wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 11:32 amOk I've moved the front fin 20mm further towards the footpade keeping 35mm from the edge.
What do you think of the rocker values and concave? 15mm too much? i'm wanting a bit of flex in the nose and tail. But at the same time i want as flatter waterline as possible for efficiency.
I've thought about channels, but i dont have the cnc blank ,illing capability. Plus I have leftover bamboo from last time. So it might not suit my resources for this build.
