OK men,
Take a look at these dimensions and give me some feedback. Is there anything glaringly stupid that I should change?
Brief is to be reasonable the the following things,
Upwind
Chop
Boosting
Wave riding.

I'd suggest making the nose even longer but keep the curvature so you get a more pronounced kick. Keep the footpads where they are. If you are going semi-directional you can just as well make the most of it.
Maybe move the single front fin closer to the footpads down the length, i.e. still keep it close to the edge. Should make the longer nose easier to turn without sacrificing grip for boosting.
Looking forward to seeing the build

Ok I've moved the front fin 20mm further towards the footpade keeping 35mm from the edge.
What do you think of the rocker values and concave? 15mm too much? i'm wanting a bit of flex in the nose and tail. But at the same time i want as flatter waterline as possible for efficiency.
I've thought about channels, but i dont have the cnc blank ,illing capability. Plus I have leftover bamboo from last time. So it might not suit my resources for this build.

Oh, I'm pretty much limited to the 1450 length measurement as that's the magic dimension that fits in the back of my truck.

Kind of resembles a Liquid Force Lunar Lander. Maybe worth a quick comparison of that boards specs.
I bet it's pretty gratifying to build your own board. Cool shit.

I'd put half moon shaped fins on the nose. They'd be much more tolerant in case you touchdown during a bottom turn.
I'd also put rounded thick surf rails on the tail end otherwise all surfing ability is gonna be illusory with TT sharp edges.

Grab a Tomo Vader 4’10” and measure it out, although without the channels it will lose a lot.

As soon as your tips are curved, you lose more energy where the water releases. Going forward the rear tip would dictate the efficiency, so I'd make that flatter.
Going backwards the highly curved tip is going to suck power regardless, so not much you can do about that unless you want to put a little step into it like some of the racing TT's have.
The overall rockerline depends on how flexible you want the board to be. I've gone the flexy route and like the comfort and it doesn't seem to affect my boosting ability.
If you're going flexible, you need to overdo the rocker so it flattens out once you put your weight on it. Trial and error here I suppose.
As for concave, I personally don't see the point of a concave unless you want to stiffen the board. From a dynamics point of view I think you score maybe 2 or 3 degrees of angle when edging, unless you go mega-heelside concave like Nomad does.

In my mind more concave flattens the board accross the waterline. It makes a board with higher rocker more efficient as the waterline sees less rocker. Thus the reason for increasing the concave. To make a more efficient board while still retaining the smoothness of a high rockered board.
For the record here was my old mutant. It was fantastic in the waves, in storm conditions and washing machine sea conditions. It was a power hungry and upwind wasnt the best. with this board i will give away some surf ability in favour of better upwind, efficiency and boostability. I still however want to bomb big faces.
Yes Poacher it is cool shit building your own gear. Made even cooler when it works better for you than off the shelf purchases. You can dive into a nassasistic build that is totally tailored to your wants and needs.
Yeah Bradnouff there will be a micro surf rail toward.
Theres a lot of boards out there to grab inspiration from.
Can someone with V tail vs Swallow tail experience let me know the difference? My current thinking is that swallow tail will have more upwind and boosting bite. So that is winning the battle at the moment.
