Any noticeable differences with Flysurfer Soul line extensions, vs not using extensions? Mine came with them on. Any one have experience trying both ways? I assume kite turns faster without. I own 18m and 12m Soul's.

It will be the same as any other kite using different line lengths. No real change to turning speed, just change to window size, change to drag and access to wind gradient.

I find that the 6m extensions make a big difference in the low end of the wind range of the kite....much larger sign = more power to get up and as stated, potential for more wind aloft. When I feel like I'm at the low end of being able to go on my 15, on they go. Careful though as it's easy to end up overpowered if the wind comes up.

so no real change in turning, how about for gusty situations, is better not to use in gusty winds?

Yeah when I put 30m lines on a12m soul it is more likely to fly out the side on the window in a gust and drop

There will never be a change in turning when adding or removing any extension (this is true for any kite).
Gusty winds can be easier to handle with longer lines because of the added stretch. But that's mostly a matter of taste in my opinion. Just try it out to find out what's best for you and your riding style

It depends on what you are doing...
- light wind foiling
- high boosting
- etc.
Some love 15m, others 17 or 21m...

Have changed my bar to a 55cm from a 50cm on 25m Lines on my soul 10m definitely makes it a bit faster but felt like the lines were a little long at 25m when using the 55cm bar. Think it would be better on maybe 23m ones with the bigger bar.
