is this a first/
waited an hour at fleetwood yesterday for the wind to kick in, then when it did the conditions on the 2 mile estuary were mirror flat with 15mph cross on winds,
12mtr was perfect,
but my 633 was not suited to the tidal disturbance beneath the surface and felt nervous when pushing on, quick change to my 683s sorted this perfectly, then i remembered the 633 was not suited to this fast tidal location last time out there, anyways,
the afternoon was spent blasting out the 2 miles to the top end of the estuary mouth and waiting around for the lifeboats which were out at sea training but then entered the estuary to get back to base, these boats are so powerful they create a huge wave set behind them,
The crew waved to me as they came by and then speeded up kicking up these waves behind them, being on my foil it was easy to catch the sets and practice easy wake sailing for the ride back in, awesome.
the crew loved watching as well, and waved back as they reduced power to slow for landing,
they did a quick turn around and started to go out again but then thought better of it and waved me goodbye (until next time )
