Maybe there is a QR without edge already? I don't have all in mind.
Anyone?
BWS, Tona, OR, and Switch used or still use this QR. I have one, feels cheap but works. Release is probably difficult with slimy or cold hands, not much of a ridge to grip (good for avoiding unintentional release). Reload is fussy.

Love ozone products, but this product is flawed. Get better Ruben, heal up and charge it again.
Damn, I hope it's not flawed since just last week I paid near $700US for the Ozone Foil Race bar with identical QR. Weird how I'll do 2 intense weeks of researching here on KF and everywhere possible.... and then a week later have remorse.

Most of the discussion here is the internet version of hot air as far as I can see. Not a single user has come forward with actual known issues or failure with this release. I had 2 bars with it on and had no issues at all.

So presumably you believe he is lying to protect Ozone, and in doing so deliberately endangering other kitesurfers who use the product?

I think Ruben has seriuos doubts if he would like to do megaloop with this ozone QR construction again
its obviously that cannot be so that if you brush accidently it with hand it will pop up.

Are you saying he doesn't have an issue with his release?
His broken leg is imaginary?

I’m saying that he has stated quite clearly that he accidentally fired the release by jamming his hand against it and pushing it away unintentionally ie user error not equipment malfunction. If you assume that it did in fact malfunction, then the inference is that he is lying to protect his sponsor, or is (despite being a far more experienced and better kitesurfer than us) misguided / mistaken.

I did. So if you don’t believe Rubens explanation, and the video which shows it happening, plus the later one where he explains it further, then refer to the above. Which do you think - misguided or lying? If it’s the latter then you presumably think he is content to put the lives of other kitesurfers at risk.
