This was mentioned in a recent thread: an inflation wind sock:

Very cool!
Reminds me of some tricks we used to inflate arcs (an L-shaped pipe in the tail vent) in the models that didn't have zips.

Foil kites are plenty complicated enough without making them more so! In the time he has fiddled with that thing he could have had the kite from packed to flying. He has disconnected his lines, enough said there.

Maybe it was cool back in the days where this was necessary.... but you can pull up modern closed cellers like Soul, Hyperlink 2 or the new Nova without even pre-inflating at all. It's almost ridiculously easy these days, even in low wind.

Completely unnecessary. I never preinflate my foils including the Speed 3s (what was in the film). The trick is launching with trimmed to full power and keeping the bar in/kite slightly backstalled to fill quickly.

Yep or fill it on the ground before launching with a few very light pulls on the front lines.

I like how my foil kites hot launch partially inflated with very little pull. Then once up they fill really quick. Can we complicate the process any further, maybe daisy chain your kite lines instead of wrapping them on the bar?
